The Mayor has explained that ”today it’s a great date: we inaugurate the 50 m pool right at the centre of the Mediterranean Ring, a necessary equipment for the Mediterranean Games and the city” and has highlighted the importance of ”the institutional union for a project that brings us together, like the Mediterranean Games”. The Minister has stated that today’s inauguration is ”an example of a good job carried out by all political forces with results that will benefit the city and the region”.
The 50 m pool, the first with these dimensions in the city, will host the swimming and water polo competitions of the Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018.
