Cyprus’ Marious Georgiou obtains the gold medal in the individual all around final of artistic gymnastics

Marious Georgiou, the Cypriot gymnast whoay participated in Rio 2016 Olympic Games, conquered yesterday Monday the gold medal. The silver medal went to France’s Julien Gobaux, whereas Turkey’s Ahmet Onde obtained the bronze one.
As for the Spanish gymnasts, the best classified was Néstor Abad, who finished in the fifth place. Abad, since his debut in 2013, has participated in each edition of the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship and qualified for Rio Olympic Games.
In the women’s competition, Italy’s 19-year-old gymnast Lara Mori obtained the highest score and became champion of these XVIII Mediterranean Games. France’s Louise Vanhille competed against the Sevilla-born athlete Ana Pérez for the silver medal, which was eventually conquered by the French gymnast.
This afternoon, the artistic gymnastic competition will finished with the last men’s and women’s apparatus finals.
