140 international volunteers will take part in Tarragona 2018

More than 140 volunteers from the Mediterranean area and Europe, among them 9 refugees taken in by Catalonia, will participate in the Mediterranean Games. It is a project jointly financed by Erasmus + and Generalitat.
Asociación Mundus, in collaboration with Generalitat de Catalunya, Tarragona City Council and the Mediterranean Games Foundation organises the project “EVS in XVIII Mediterranean Games Tarragona 2018 / EVSMeGa”, financed jointly with the European Commission through the Erasmus + programme.
The project will bring together 143 volunteers from 25 different countries, including a group of 9 refugees taken in by Catalonia, thanks to the collaboration between Mundus and the Secretary of Equality and Migrations.
EVSMeGa project, 32 days long, aims to connect young people from Asia, Africa and Europe through a sports competition, by promoting the geopolitical and cultural integration of these continents.
